Take Me to the Seoul Station

Last summer between trips to Rome and Naples, we visited our daughter in Seoul. The metro station in the center of Seoul is the Seoul Station. It made us think of Motown songs from the 1960s. With a little imagination, you can hear The Supremes or The Temptations singing “Take Me to the Seoul Station,” “Meet Me at the  Seoul Station,” or “Going to the Seoul Station.” Of course for them it would have been the Soul Station. It was our first trip to South Korea, and in addition to having fun with the Seoul Station name, we had a great time traveling around the country. South Korea is a unique blend of the ultramodern and the traditional. Below are a few photos from our trip. We are returning in a few days for another visit.
