I love Italy! Doesn’t everyone love Italy? The poets certainly loved her. The Browning’s, Shelley, Bryon, and others all spent time in Italy and were inspired by her. The great painters all made pilgrimages to Italy. The greatest artists were born Italian. The French have the Tour de France but Italian bicyclists and bicycles are what give cycling its panache.
There are so many reasons to love Italy. With apologies to Elizabeth Barrett Browning, let me count the ways:
